Inside Sales Engineer

The Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) is the front line of providing excellent customer service, and superior support to the company's customers. The ISE gathers the required data to size, select, and quote process control solutions. Often this is the first point of contact with our customers, so a combination of technical know-how and customer service skills are required. The ISE I receives mentoring and training on internal procedures, vendor products, and pricing guidelines from an assigned Inside Sales Manager, and/or Inside Sales Level II mentor. Work processes and technical selections are reviewed by Management or Level II ISEs.
Ensures proper preparation and submittal of customer documentation requirements.
Consistently maintains technical competence with all aspects of Company business systems relating to the processing of customer orders.
Continuously improves knowledge of products and services offered by the company.
Interact with customers to provide process control solutions utilizing the products the company offers. Interactions can be via email, telephone, or occasionally face to face.
Engineer, size, select and quote the best technical, and commercial solution to clients. Learn to become proficient with control valve, actuator, and regulator sizing theory and software utilization.
Learn and become proficient in Fisher products and service. Become familiar with factory product documentation including but not limited to, Order Entry Documents (OED I and OED II), engineering catalogs, product service sheets, bulletins and IOMs.
Learn troubleshooting techniques and product applications to provide technical support and understand when to escalate to Management and/or the Factory.
Develop relationships with principles, suppliers, Account Managers to effectively provide the customer with the best possible overall Company experience.
Support internal customers (Order Management, Accounting, Shop and Inventory) to provide support in efficiently processing customer orders.
