The role of the Electrician is to perform PM Work Orders, Troubleshoot and Repair various mill equipment, repair and modify electrical controls including Electronic Drive Units, PLCs, and HMIs, provide electrical support to the Mechanical and Production Teams, and assist with various projects. They are looking for someone who fits into their culture, someone with a strong commitment to Safety in all job aspects and a positive attitude, who is goal oriented and interested in self-improvement. You must also show you have the ability to work in a team environment and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Technically they need someone with an understanding of electrical theory (Ohm's and Kirchoff's Laws) and practice, automation control, and experience or the ability to learn to perform routine and corrective maintenance on: High, Medium and Low Voltage Electrical equipment including - AC Motors and Drives, DC Motors and Drives, Power Distribution, Control Systems, Wiring and PLC's (will teach PLC's), Overhead Cranes, Strong troubleshooting skills, Excellent computer skills, Mechanical aptitude or any Hydraulic and Pneumatic system knowledge is a bonus.
This is a rotating shift position that is 4 days on 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off.
First year electricians can expect to make approximately $75 - $80k. By 3rd year $100k+. Base pay will be about $25k but you will receive bonus's that are based on production and team performance. They offer a great benefits package.
