Industrial Electrical Project Manager

Greenville, SC

Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations technical training and/or related experience.
5 to 10 years construction project management/estimating experience in electrical construction.
Heavy industrial project management ($2M-$20M+) experience on power, oil and gas, manufacturing, chemical projects.
National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge.
Takeoffs to project estimates and scope for material buyout, scheduling and planning.
Productivity tracking via installed quantities/hours spent (earned value).
Strong Estimating software (MC2, Accubid, and so on) and MS Office/EXCEL knowledge/experience.
Strong interpersonal, supervisory, customer relations, and communications (written/oral) skills.
Oracle P6 Scheduling experience a plus.
Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check.

Key responsibilities:
Supervision of total construction effort to ensure project(s) constructed per design, budget and on-schedule.
Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and support staff.
Provide direction to craft workers and contractor/sub-contractor workers as required.
Provide technical assistance, that is, interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, and so on.
Complete estimating and documentation for extra work and ensure issuance of change orders.
Manage productivity of craft workers and efficient use of materials & equipment, and overall contractual performance of the project.
Budget development.
Labor productivity tracking.
Construction contract management.
Cost tracking/forecasting.
