This critical role performs 60% preventative and 40% corrective maintenance on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), Motor Controls, Variable Speed Drives and other related electrical equipment along with instrumentation calibration, testing and evaluation. Working in an industrial plant environment safety and environmental hazards are top priority. This role will adhere to electrical safety and tag-out, lock-out procedures and receive specialized training on new equipment. This position will apply root-cause trouble-shooting skills to resolve complex electrical faults.
Base pay is $40/hr. The pay schedule is: week 1, 36 hrs, week 2, 48 hours, week 3, 84 hours, ($2, 640 in overtime every 3rd week). Competitive benefits and merit-based advancement to level II ($45/hr and Level III $50/hr).
