Job Description

They are in search of a service member who worked as a machinist in the military or has worked on CNC machines since the military to join their family-owned business in St. Louis.

In this role you will support customers in deployment of client's equipment, during installation, setup, and training on both new and used equipment to ensure customer satisfaction. You will represent the company as an industry expert in the development, application, and troubleshooting of precision bore finishing processes and technology.

Essential functions:

- With support of senior technicians and management, performing installations and commissioning of new precision bore finishing equipment and technology at domestic and international customer locations
- Perform minor equipment repairs within scope of authorization and training
- Assist customers on the proper use of precision bore finishing equipment and technology with support of senior technicians
- Develop processes for new precision bore finishing applications
- Perform all steps necessary to setup and run the precision bore finishing process, including but not limited to, tooling selection, machine programming, machine setup, and final documentation
- Develop and perform inter-company training programs in support of field sales staff and customer service staff
- Provide support to sales and marketing including but not limited to trade show support, and equipment demonstrations
- Other Duties as assigned, keep a clean and organized workspace, assist with IOM and systems documentation
- Operate machine shop equipment to perform minor machine work alterations to tooling and fixturing
