Focus Factory Cell Lead

As a Focus Factory Cell Lead you will be responsible for supervising 8-20 hourly employees in a factory environment. They need someone with the ability to supervise, mentor, coach and train their team. You will drive safety, quality and productivity performance in accordance with company principles, standard work and customer requirements. You will need to determine daily manpower (including overtime) and work assignments for employees to adjust for fluctuations in demand. You will approve payroll and administer corrective action and discipline as needed. May be scheduled on shifts and weekends without additional management support. They need someone with a Mathematical mindset who can drive KPIs +QDIP and continuous improvement and conduct root cause counter measure for misses in cycle time. If you have previous participation in Kaizen and other continuous improvement efforts, it would make you a good fit for this role along with experience training teams on technical topics as well as problem solving, communication skills and conflict resolution skills. This is a great opportunity to learn the business and develop/grow Process Improvement, LEAN skills promotions possible to Focus Factory Manager, Buyer planner/ ABS (manufacturing) engineer and other roles.

They have three shifts and you could be hired for any of them. Most weeks they are running 5 days, but they do work many Saturdays and some Sundays depending on customer needs. You must be able to relate how your military leadership experience relates to a manufacturing environment and do so without a lot of military jargon. You also must prove you have the ability to adapt and make changes based on constantly re-evaluating a situation. You will also need to prove you have good judgement and good people skills.

Base is $65 - 70k + Gain Share Program that pays out on a yearly basis based on how the business does. Great Benefits package.

This is a development program to train you in a manufacturing leadership role. They are looking to hire people they can in vision moving up the ladder quickly to a Focus Factory Management Role.
