Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

A day in the life would be responding to road calls performing repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles. This role will be customer facing, as you may be installing, replacing, or repairing engine equipment, clutches, transmissions, starters, alternators, batteries, repairing refrigerants, ventilation systems, brakes, and so on as needed. You will be trained in skills you may not have yet.
Candidates must obtain a CDL and PA state inspection license within 1 year. The employer will pay for this process. Once the candidate obtains their PA State Inspection license, they can perform state inspections on the fleet vehicles.
You will work the 1st shift during training, then have the option to stay on 1st or go to 2nd. Overtime is usually 5-10 hours per week on average. You will work Saturdays or possibly Saturday and Sunday during training, working the trainers schedule. You can bid on a schedule change after training. This is a union position; you are not required to join the union until training is complete.
The starting pay will increase once training is completed. Full benefits, and a 401k
