They are currently seeking a Finance Director for their Boxborough, MA location.

Position summary:
The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing all financial activities for our business, the Company's financial systems and for working together with the Level 1 Staff to deliver business performance. Primary areas of responsibility include Controllership, FP&A, Controls and Compliance, and supervision of the Finance team in executing on these objectives. The position directly reports to the VP/GM and has a dotted-line relationship to the Group Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities:
- Leads and develops the finance team, provides direction and guidance on all financial matters for the Dover Motion business.
- Responsible for setting a strong compliance tone in the organization. Establishes and enforces appropriate internal controls and standard work that comply with Company Policies and SOX.
- Leads all controllership activities including but not limited to financial closings, corporate reporting, audits, tax, compliance programs and daily management of transactional processing (AR, AP, PR, Credit).
- Plan and formulate as well as lead all Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities for the business including but not limited to forecasts, budgets, strategic plans and analysis of monthly performance, as well as ad hoc analysis.
- Identify trends and provide proactive recommendations on improvement of financial and operating performance.
- Active participant and business partner in Strategic and Tactical decisions for the business.
- Responsible for the Company's working capital performance in DSO and works collaboratively with Operations to drive performance in DPO and Inventory Turns.
- Responsible for promoting a collaborative relationship between our company and other intercompany entities (including working closely with Melbourne and San Diego offices).
- Other related tasks as determined by the VP/GM or Group Financial Controller.
- Leads and develops the finance team, provides direction and guidance on all financial matters for the Dover Motion business.
- Responsible for setting a strong compliance tone in the organization. Establishes and enforces appropriate internal controls and standard work that comply with Fortive Policies and SOX.

$130 - $150k + 10% Bonus + Relocation Potential + Full Benefits Package
Must have 3 years of manufacturing environment experience, and Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other finance-related major.
