Field Service Technician

Field Service Technicians (FST) are directly responsible for installation, training, diagnosis and repair of plastic injection molding machines in regions across the country. You will also be responsible for on-site training with the customer on how to properly use and maintain the equipment. This position will ultimately be based in the Southern Texas area (San Antonio - south) and will provide service to customers in Southern Texas and Mexico. Must be fluent in Spanish!

Successful candidates for this role have solid electronic/electro-mechanical technical experience. You must be mature and driven. This is ultimately a work from home, true field service position, which offers you outstanding flexibility in your day-to-day scheduling.

The company has an unmatched initial training pipeline including 1-month intensive training period at the company's corporate Headquarters in Germany. You will also spend between 1-2 years training and being mentored at their US Headquarters in Connecticut, before transitioning to your designated region.

Initial compensation will include a $50 - $60k base annual salary. You will receive a per diem rate while training in Germany, and anytime there is overnight travel on the job (including initial ride-along training). The company is generous with pay increases for performance and as you become more useful to the business (not just a student). Generous overtime is also available for FSTs (work time includes travel, daily "door-to-door", and admin time). A company car and expense card are included, as well as a full, comprehensive benefits package. You are in control of your success in this role. If you want more, they will give you more opportunity. They are also understanding of family time and work life balance, and never push for unwarranted overtime. First year (training period) compensation should expect to be $55 - $65k and will increase quickly once in your territory.
