Field Service Technician
Ft. Lauderdale, FL
You will serve as the on-site customer contact on technical and service related problems, traveling to the west coast, Australia, Alaska, at times Europe and Japan and other exotic locations to perform chemistry and PH analysis on water treatment systems on the ships.
You will also train on-board staff to ensure proper working equipment during the cruise. In the winter you will mostly be working in Fort Lauderdale, but during the rest of the year you will travel about 15 days or more a month.
You will need to be able to work under minimal supervision to conduct pre-installation site surveys, perform on-site installation, preventative maintenance, service and repair to these systems. Most service calls take on average 8 hours including wait time, so much of your time in a location will be yours.
Company pays for air, lodging and food while you are traveling.
