This client is a world leader in machine tool technology, automated material handling systems, clean room automation and textile machinery. Their brand is synonymous with industrial automation and reliability across their extensive product line. As the recognized leader in the material handling industry, they have installed over 3, 000 automated storage and retrieval systems for industries as diverse and complex as aerospace, automotive, and semiconductors.

This client is sourcing Field Service Technicians to be the "boots on the grounds? Techs of their commissioning and installation maintenance projects. In this role, you will run preventative and corrective maintenance on customer owned automated material handling system machines. In this position, you will work out of their corporate office in Charlotte, NC and be part of their service team who subject matter experts. If you are an electrical or electronics technician with mechanical aptitude and looking to join a military-friendly organization that offers plenty of growth, this is for you.

Technical background needed: electrical and electronics technician types who are open to travel.

This is a field-based position where you should expect upwards of 90% national and regional travel. All of your travel is booked and paid for by the company. Expect to be on the road or in the air from Monday-Friday for a few weeks at a time, and to get home Friday afternoon-evening timeframe for the weekend and a few working days off. When not on the road, you'll report to the corporate offices.

The candidate will attend a 2-4 week training course at their corporate offices in Reno, NV. You will also travel with an experienced Service Engineer for close to a year to be fully on-boarded to their organization.

Base salary DOE, plus 5-10 hours overtime, all travel is paid for.
