Job Description
Training will be in Kansas City at their corporate training facility for up to six months of in house and in the field training. Your commitment to your customer base will ultimately increase your compensation by providing exemplary customer service to clients, visiting them not only for PMs or troubleshooting but also courtesy visits to see how things are going. You will be part of a national service team that provides the highest quality, most responsive customer driven service and support, helping to advance the company? S leadership position in the food, industrial, and medical packaging industries.
This is a 90% travel position that pays you for windshield time from the time you leave your home until you check in to the hotel. Your schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal and external customers, schedules and you must be willing to work outside normal business hours, including some weekends as required. There may be a schedule requirement that consists of ten (10) consecutive scheduled days of work followed by four (4) scheduled days of rest and may commence on any day of the week, but weekend work is paid double time. You must be able to travel with little notice as customer demands require.
You will communicate with a scheduler daily to give updates on current jobs status and receive additional job assignments. You will be getting a company vehicle that can be used for personal use. Training will start in Kansas City at their corporate training facility and out in the field working with experienced Field Service Techs. The amount of time spent in training is dependent on you and how quickly you learn but could be up to 6 months. Once fully trained you will start in your location, at first working with another FSE. There is usually more anual training back in KC. There is not as much overtime first year as about 1/2 of it will be in training.
They are currently hiring for their western region that covers from MT, WY, CO, NM, TX, and everything West. They have 5 current openings, 2 in CA, 2 in TX and one in Denver.
$30 - $32/hour ($35 CA) 10 -15/hour overtime each week, double pay weekends. They offer company cars you can use for personal use, daily per diems ($56/day,) company credit card, full benefits.
