Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician will provide customer support for installed systems and new installations. The Field Service Technician will be trained to provide both technical phone support as well as support via live onsite presence. The candidate will develop the skills to test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug equipment and computer systems.
You will be trained and supported by a nationwide team of techs and supervisors. Most of your work will be on the road at customer sites with quite a bit of work occurring on the weekend.
Overnight travel represents 75%+ of your work week, you must be ok with travel up to three weeks at a time. When you aren't on the road, you'll have down time at home and may conduct administrative business or phone support. You will have a company computer and phone and will earn per diem when on the road.
This is a very large team of 200+ techs in the US, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to grow.
Compensation is $52, 500 base + overtime (total comp $60 - $65k plus) with opportunities for raises as you grow. Per diem will be $50/day.
In order to be competitive for this role you will need to have strong mechanical or electronic troubleshooting skills and be great at solving problems for customers.
The organization will be conducting phone interview on August 20th and 21st. Candidates who do well will receive a personality assessment and then be flown out to their Lenexa Kansas location for in person final interview on August 28th and 29th.
Candidates must be available for the in-person interview dates. Company will pay for flights and hotel. Candidates need to start orientation class September 30th.
