Field Service Technician
The company has an unmatched initial training pipeline including 1-month intensive training period at the company's corporate Headquarters in Germany. You will also spend between 1-2 years training and being mentored at their US Headquarters in Connecticut, before transitioning to your designated region. Because of the lengthy initial training period, final locations are not guaranteed, but there are multiple opportunities available in the Mid-West regions allowing good flexibility in meeting desired geographic locations. Once assigned, there is generally wide flexibility in where you actually live within the region based on your desires.
Initial compensation will include a $50 - $60K base annual salary. You will receive a per diem rate while training in Germany, and anytime there is overnight travel on the job (including initial ride-along training). The company is generous with pay increases for performance and as you become more useful to the business (not just a student). Generous overtime is also available for FSTs (work time includes travel, daily "door-to-door", and admin time). A company car and expense card are included, as well as a full, comprehensive benefits package. You are in control of your success in this role. If you want more, they will give you more opportunity. They are also understanding of family time and the work life balance, and never push for unwarranted overtime. First year (training period) compensation should expect to be $55 - $65k and will increase quickly once in your territory.
