Field Service Technician- Generators

Job Description
As a field service technician, you will be responsible for conducting planned preventative maintenance as well as mechanical and electrical repairs of both diesel and gaseous fueled engine-generator sets, automatic transfer switches and auxiliary equipment.
You will be a great fit for this role if you have worked as a generator repair technician or if you have some of the following skill sets:
- Skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of controls, switchgear and accessories such as batteries, battery chargers, heaters, motor and pumps
- The ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and problem solve using AC/DC skills
- The ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical contactors, motors, relays, contact, generator components and controls
- Ability to read, understand and interpret technical data via instruction manuals
Locations: Syracuse, NY or Buffalo, NY, with small territories- limited overnight travel
Base salary with potential relocation. Full medical, dental, and vision is offered. A 401k, PTO, including sick time, and holidays. A company truck, on-going paid training, and tuition reimbursement; also there is a boot and tool allowance.
