Field Service Techncian
You will work independently to troubleshoot and repair a variety of high-speed cash-handling equipment; tracking and management of parts/tools; and staying abreast of changes in technical and functional elements of the company's equipment.
While some computer knowledge is required, this position is focused electro-mechanical repair. The ideal candidate may possess some PC knowledge.
However, this position is not intended for IT or help desk professionals. You must have excellent customer service and communication skills and a working knowledge of personal computers especially Microsoft Office, navigation across network sites and email communication.
They need a candidate with logical trouble shooting skills and capability to isolate problems at PCB or component level and the ability to effectively work with electric schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings and an understanding of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry.
They need someone trained in the maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical machines. Some of the equipment you will be working on will be repairing high-speed paper handling machines such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; ATMs or copier machines, so any experience with them is preferred.
3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred, for example, aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, and/or military repair experience.

The most important skill they are looking for are communication and people skills.
They need someone who can communicate with their customers, when they arrive on the scene, letting them know who they are what they are there for and what they will be doing with their cash machines.
Candidates must live or be willing to relocate to within 40-minute (driving distance) of the location they are looking to fill.
Regular schedule is usually Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm but can change depending on customer needs.
On-call rotation is 2-weeks on-call and 2-weeks off (on-call is until 11pm, includes weekends from 7am - 11pm) and on-call pay is $125 a week in addition to the hourly pay and any OT.
Overnight travel is required approximately 2 to 3 times a month and could be up to 20% of the time at most.
Orientation: 1 to 2 weeks in Watertown, WI for formal training, then possibly some field training and additional trips back to Watertown for training approximately 6-weeks (total) of the first year (not consecutive weeks).
$21 - $23.50/hour + 5 to 10 hours overtime/week + on call 2 weeks/month for an additional $125/week + hours worked. At the low end with overtime this is a $50 - $55k+ job; 10 days' vacation, 2 floating holidays and 9 paid holidays.
