This individual will install, troubleshoot, and provide customer training on high speed automated industrial inspection equipment. Anticipate approximately 70% travel. Strong communications skills required to work with clients at their sites. Strong training skills, instructor or trainer experience is a plus. Knowledge in electronics and mechanical work required. You must have a good (not perfect, but good) credit rating in order to qualify for a corporate card. The upside to all of the travel is that the scenery changes constantly. Not like going to the same factory or repair shop every day. Also, you keep all air miles, hotel points, and so on, for your own personal use! Field service reps take a "free" vacation every other year or so by cashing in all of those reward points they have racked up just by doing their job.
You must have a passport. The candidate must have good credit and qualify for the company $10k AMEX card. You'll need a credit score about/close to 700 (or better of course).
Overtime! Really good annual bonus. Starting base pay target is $55k but total pay is significantly higher with overtime. Easily make $65 - $70k and annual bonus on top of that. Air miles and hotel points are yours to use for vacations! Base pay applies to 40 hours each week then time and a half after that.
Company pays 100% dental for employee and family and 100% of life and disability insurance for the employee and a higher than normal percentage of health insurance premium.
