In this role, the Field Service Manager is responsible for delivering operational excellence and building and maintaining customer relationships in their assigned territory. Key responsibilities include managing a field service team, to include recruiting, developing, and retaining team members. You will create and expand relationships with new and existing customers. Your direct reports include field service engineers, field service leads, field service supervisors, and project managers. You will have oversight over all current and upcoming projects in the sub-region, build the overall project plan, ensuring the right resources (people and equipment) are available and in position at the right times. Additionally, you will work with the Regional Manager to develop a strategy regarding personnel and equipment needs.
Travel for this role will be approximately a one-week trip every 90-120 days.
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in engineering, operations, or logistics related field. Prior experience coaching and managing teams is required. Candidate must have experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
Compensation is in the range of $90k+ with a strong benefits package commensurate with a Fortune 500 company.
