As Field Service Technician at this company you will be primarily responsible for maintenance activities on our Uninterrupted Power Systems along with their associated equipment. Other responsibilities include and are not limited to providing assistance through supervision during assembly and disassembling, testing, and commissioning of systems. You will also be required to provide and direct general assistance where needed. The position will be focused on complete customer satisfaction by ensuring contractual obligations are met and equipment down time is minimal.

Supervision, mentorship and leadership by example are key responsibilities required at this level. The Service Technician will be under the direct supervision of the Regional Service Manager (RSM). In the event you are designated as a Senior Service Technician and assigned as a lead technician for a project, you will have supervisory responsibility of the technician team but will report to the Project Manager (PM).

Location: Work from home within a 45 mile radius of Ashburn, VA. (Ashburn is 35 miles northwest of D.C. Metro area - offering a reverse commute away from D.C. Traffic and a 45 minute radius on where you can live.)

Working hours: Monday - Friday with occasional work or on call duties some weekends. Home most every night.

Travel: Day-to-day travel throughout the region with little to not overnight travel.

Compensation: $27 - $30 per hour (guaranteed 40 hours per week) 10-30 hours overtime (time & a half = potentially an additional 25k per year). + Full Benefits + Cell Phone + Laptop + Company Car + Fuel Card + Test Equipment + Tool Allowance
Must be a Nuke EM. Local travel only with voluntary out-of-state travel opportunities. 50-60 hour work week and home every night.
