Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Our for a Field Service Engineer position with a world leader in explosion protection systems. The company is targeting a candidate with a strong background in electrical/mechanical systems with preferable experience in fire protection systems. They desire candidates who live within an hour of major airports of St. Louis, Houston, Richmond, or Omaha.

The Engineer will travel to local customer locations to commission, maintain, and troubleshoot life-saving products and equipment, as well as provide client education. For this role, you must be analytical and possess the skills to diagnose possible malfunctions within the explosion suppression systems. You must be able to diagnose and analyze equipment issues and breakdowns. The ideal candidate is comfortable maintaining and accurately transcribing performance and data collection and have a customer service attitude. Ladder logic/PLC knowledge is a plus. Fire protection/suppression system knowledge a bonus (higher pay).

Base salary, PTO, health insurance, 401k options, per diem ($69/day), company tools, and a laptop.
