Job Description

The Field Service Engineer position is responsible for complete field installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of several products the company supplies. Depending upon the terms of the contract or project, this may include planning, scheduling, coordinating, cost control, and monitoring the work in an advisory capacity to others; as well as supervising company employees in the performance of the work. This also includes documenting all job activities. In this position, the engineer is expected to become proficient in basic systems technologies.

Travel is normally during the work week. Most trips are 2-3 days while others can be Monday-Friday. The company does service Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico. You could end up traveling internationally after you have been fully trained. Those trips can last a few weeks.

You will work from your home when not traveling during the week. This is customer troubleshooting calls, training, trip planning, and other admin details. The company needs an FSE in Tampa, the San Jose Area, and the Boston area to include lower New Hampshire.
