The FSE (Field Service Engineer) is an independent operator and world class service engineer for the company's UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) Product Line. The company's face to the customer, strong communication skills and solution-oriented focus is a must. The FSE works from a regional home office and performs preventative and emergency maintenance at client sites as scheduled as well as on demand. This position has a strong on-call component; the company's equivalent first responders to emergencies. The FSE must be a mature self-starter who can be trusted to manage their own schedule, work from a home office and be efficient when on call.
Company will provide formal and informal training, but the FSE need to be able to make good decisions on their own without a lot of guidance or supervision. The position offers a base salary of $50 - $60k and pays overtime and double time on emergency weekend calls as well as paid travel. It also pays commissions on sales resulting from an FSE's recommendation. A seasoned FSE earns over $100k annually.
