Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Our client specializes in designing and manufacturing high quality mechanical and electromechanical equipment for space, energy, and industry applications. In this role, you will support the client with the maintenance of company designed and manufactured machines; troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various specialized mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/components.

What you bring:

- 5+ years of facilities/machine maintenance experience or transferable military experience
- An associate degree or similar level of experience
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Possess a good understanding of electrical systems, to include 480 volt and below including various control voltage
- Have knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams in excess of 5000 PSI operating pressure
- Possess strong customer service, interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be fast-thinking, pro-active and self-sufficient
- Attention to detail and quality
- Must have a valid driver's license and a no criminal record
