Field Service Engineer

Our client has an immediate opening for Field Service Engineers in various locations across the US. A successful Field Service Engineer will drive for excellence in customer satisfaction, enjoy troubleshooting and setting up complex systems, and have a passion for learning new technology. Commission, troubleshoot and service the most advanced lighting control systems

In this position, you would be a key part of our expanding Field Service team, as the company expert at customer sites ensuring that their advanced lighting systems are commissioned properly and serviced post-installation. This role is an integral part of our customer-focused business model as customers are the foundation of our business. Travel:

The goal for FSE travel is 20% out of territory. This is a nationwide goal, although the FSE are market-based. So, naturally, FSEs that work in smaller markets inherently have more travel outside of their territory. Large metropolitan markets have the least amount of out-of-territory travel. Hourly pay $27-$33hr. Based on your years' of experience, qualifications, rank, etc. With overtime, you will make in the $70 - $80k for the year.

Territories with openings:

- Philadelphia: $28 -$30hr (30% travel) (Travel primarily between local territory (Philly-central NJ), occasional NYC and Wash D.C.)
- Phoenix: $27-$29hr. (40% travel) (Travel primarily around Phoenix/Tucson. Supporting regional states, occasional Las Vegas and Denver.)
- Miami: $28-$30hr. (50% travel) (primarily supporting Miami, with travel to Tampa and Orlando. Some Caribbean island work (Bahamas/Grand Cayman.)
- Seattle: $30-$33hr. (30% travel) (primarily Seattle with some trips to Portland. Occasional support for San Francisco.)

Responsibilities:

- Deliver exemplary customer service to customers in the field.
- Become proficient in servicing all company systems while following field service procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair company's commercial system installations.
- Coordinate with on-site contractors and facility managers to ensure proper system installation.
- Focus on lifecycle product service (troubleshooting, repair, training end-users, and upgrades.)
- Work independently from your home office to accommodate the ever changing needs and priorities of our customers.
- Serve as a technical expert for legacy systems and products
- Stay aligned to the client's culture and values.
