Field Service Engineer

Job Description
In this role, the candidate will solve interference issues and maintenance or overhaul work at customer locations. The systematic maintenance and, if necessary, adjustment of machines. Generating satisfied customers by solving failure issues and delivering (software) solutions to improve or consolidate the functionality of the machines. The technical focus of the position depends on the specialization(s) per employee (software/mechanical/electrical).
Primary tasks and responsibilities:
- Solve failures
- Investigating a disturbance on site, identify the cause and ensuring proper solution
- Handling questions from customers and service partners at a machine technical level that the sales colleagues cannot provide
- Devise and implement solutions for service-related questions
- Answering questions from customers, colleagues, and service partners about failure problems with a software component
- Passing on structural quality issues to engineering
- Call in help from specialist engineers when necessary
