As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to customers. You will work from home and travel to the customer's business to repair and preform preventative maintenance on sensor-based sorting equipment. This is a position for someone with both mechanical and electronic skill set. In addition to your normal duties you will be responsible for on-site training with the customer on how to properly use and maintain the equipment.
You will be expected to travel overnight approximately 75% of the time. After extended trips you will be compensated with extra days off.
Due to the high degree of autonomy associated with being a Field Service Engineer you will be compensated handsomely with a base of $27 - $29 an hour along with overtime you can expect to earn $70 - $80k your first year and increasing amounts the second year! Additionally you will qualify for an outstanding benefit package including full medical, dental and vision as well as 401(k).
