Job Description

In this role, you will be the face of measurement and calibration technology that is used on a massive scale. This company creates huge pieces of equipment to test, measure, and confirm the standards used in various large manufacturing operations. Some of their customers are leaders in electric cars, rocket and aerospace companies, and major automotive leaders.

You will travel to customers' locations to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of coordinated measuring machines, machine tools, and accessories. You will perform preventative maintenance on selected systems. Part of your job will be to assist with identifying, analyzing, and repairing failures, orders, and replacing parts as needed. You will also have the responsibility to train customers as needed.

This role is an electro-mechanical role in nature. You will need to demonstrate experience in electronics and some electrical/mechanical knowledge to succeed. The company has a significant training program that you will learn from other experts in the field as well as established training coursework to become the subject matter expert for your customers.

This is a field-based role, and you will travel from your base of operations (your home), to wherever the job is in the US. You should be able to travel without limitation as the jobs are mostly scheduled ahead of time. Most of the travel for this group is based in the Northeast but you should be able to travel to where you are needed by the company. You should expect your travel to be Monday-Friday, with limited weekend work.
