As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to customers. The company is pioneer in sensor-based sorting in the food, recycling, mining and other industries providing the equipment necessary to make industry run faster and more efficiently. You will travel to customer's business to repair and preform preventative maintenance on sensor-based sorting equipment related to the mining industry. This is a position for someone with both mechanical and electronic skill set. In addition to your normal duties you will be responsible for on-site training with the customer on how to properly use and maintain the equipment. This position requires 70% overnight travel. All travel expenses will be covered by the company to include per diem. Initial training will include traveling to a company training center in Europe. A bachelor degree is a requirement for this position due to legal restrictions related to working in Canada, where you will travel to frequently.
Due to the high degree of autonomy associated with being a Field Service Engineer you will be compensated handsomely $27 - $30 an hour along with overtime you can expect to earn $55 - $65k base plus opportunity for overtime your first year and increasing amounts the second year! Additionally you will qualify for an outstanding benefit package including full medical, dental and vision as well as 401(k). The company pays 100% medical, dental and vision costs for the employee! Insurance for a family of three is less than $150/month.
