Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to clients in the recycling division. The company is pioneer in sensor-based sorting in the food, recycling, mining and other industries providing the equipment necessary to make industry run faster and more efficiently. You will work from home and travel to customer's business to repair and preform preventative maintenance on sensor-based sorting equipment. This is a position for someone with both mechanical and electronic skill set. In addition to your normal duties you will be responsible for on-site training with the customer on how to properly use and maintain the equipment. This position requires 70% overnight travel. All travel expenses will be covered by the company to include per diem. Initial training will include traveling to a company training center in Europe.

Due to the high degree of autonomy associated with being a Field Service Engineer you will be compensated handsomely $27 - $30/hour along with overtime you can expect to earn $55 - $65k base, $57/day per diem, and with overtime you will be making $70k+ your first year! Most techs make $80 - $100k or more after completing training. Additionally, you will qualify for an outstanding benefit package including full medical, dental and vision as well as 401(k). The company pays 100% medical, dental and vision costs for the employee!
