Field Electrician

Job Description
The Field Electrician is responsible for performing repairs on older systems, installation/integrating new, cutting-edge technologies in the maritime industry.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
- Electrical wiring of generators and motors
- Wiring up industrial and/or marine lighting
- Utilize test equipment as required (multimeter, watt meter, and so on)
- Pulling in, grooming, and tying down cabling
- Use and operate hand and power tools
- Must provide your own primary tool set - we can work around a lack of tools when you're starting out
All other duties as assigned.
$26 - $36/hour DOE, overtime eligible, profit sharing, travel pay increases.
