Promotes company products through education of current and potential customers, implant and patient clinic coverage within a defined region by providing clinical education, sales strategy and support to assist in achieving projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within product segments. Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of surgical coverage, basic troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products. Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (for example, slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all customers abreast of the latest product, therapy, and technology developments and current items of interest in the industry. Performs clinical and library research and participates in case reviews and clinical observation by working with physicians and hospital lab staff. Attends unit implants in the lab.
Overnight travel is rare as you work in your territory. However, there are some meetings and training that could involve overnight travel.
Tidewater Virginia area. You must live in the territory.
Most of the work (75%) in concentrated in Newport News and Hampton VA. However, there is come coverage throughout the Tidewater area (25%) like Norfolk/Suffolk/VA Beach. There is also the potential for this same job in Washington D.C.
The compensation range is a base of $72 - $74k + incentive of $13k + car allowance. The car allowance should be at least $500/month and includes a credit card for gas, maintenance, and so on. Smart phone, laptop, and so on.
Compensation growth over time is phenomenal. After 3-4 years as an FCR you can move up to associate sales rep and easily make over $200k. Once you become a full rep, you should make even more. Some of the top sales representatives at make $400 - $500/year.
