This person will work as part of the facility team: This means working on everything outside of the production floor; HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and so on. In this role the Facilities Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC. The successful candidate will perform skilled trades work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. The Facilities Technician will work with manufacturing or process engineering in the support and repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process and make regular inspections of the premises to monitor and coordinate repair work as necessary. You must understand reference blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.
The company wants someone with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background. Background in plumbing or HVAC is a plus, but not needed. The facility also has its own water treatment plant. You will become certified on that system within the 1st year.
This position supports a Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday 6: 00 pm to 6: 15 am shift schedule. The qualified candidate will receive a 15% shift premium in this position.
Base pay of $45 - $60k plus 15% shift differential. Plenty of overtime is available for this role. They have top tier benefits to include 401K with a company match.
