Job Description

Our Fortune 200 Client is a leader in the industrial machinery industry. They are seeking military experienced candidates for a Field Service Engineer position

This role is both highly technical and highly autonomous. You'll be providing technical customer service on state-of-the-art UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies). The core technologies are digital controls electronics, 3 phase motor / generator controls and DC (Digital Circuits). Training will consist of staggered Power Track classroom, mentored field work and qualification on a product, typically starting in the battery line. Once trained you will perform scheduled preventative maintenance in the metro area with occasional priority emergency corrective maintenance calls.

This Field Service Electronics Engineer will be responsible for servicing electrical (high voltage environment) UPS systems, batteries, and electronic based products at customer sites. In this role, you will perform on-site emergency and preventative maintenance and repairs, as well as installation of company products in a 24/7 on-call environment with regional responsibility. Products to include uninterruptible power supplies and batteries. Additionally, you will provide technical support to customers and serve as contact on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
