Their high-performance systems drive advancements in energy efficiency, consumer electronics, and network storage, allowing their customers to maximize productivity and achieve a lower cost of ownership.

Our client is seeking a dedicated engineering technician to join our growing team. This role involves supporting engineering activities, maintaining, and developing the client's cutting-edge etch and deposition equipment, and contributing to the daily operations of the Applications lab.

As a crucial member of the team, you will support engineering activities, including design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electromechanical and vacuum systems. Your responsibilities include performing setup and preventative processing equipment maintenance, ensuring optimal functionality. Your role extends to technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel, utilizing high-precision electrical, optical, and mechanical test equipment to diagnose and repair system performance issues. You will also manage the Applications lab's shipping, receiving, and internal stock.

They value your military experience and seek candidates with at least two years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting complex systems. An associate degree in technical engineering or a technical field service background is preferred, and equivalent military training and experience is also desired.

They are looking for candidates with solid troubleshooting skills and a hands-on approach. Excellent organizational skills, including effective time management, are essential. Experience in the high-technology sector is desirable, and familiarity with vacuum and wafer processing equipment is a plus. Proficiency in using computer-based systems, including Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), is expected. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are crucial.

Salary paid hourly (overtime eligible), Medical/Dental/Vision/401k. Profit sharing roughly 5%, quarterly.
