Job Description
This client is a worldwide provider of innovative cryogenic and vacuum solutions to the medical, semiconductor, flat panel, general coating, and research industries. They are the engineering part of an $8billion worldwide company.
They are specifically looking to hire an Engineering Technician. In this role, you'll be working on their latest cryogenic, cryopump and cryocooler technologies. Really, they want someone with a military background in electronics and/or instrumentation as the transferable skills match where they can train you on their specific machinery. Think ET, avionics techs, FCs, sonar techs, and PMEL types.
Job Responsibilities:
- Setup instrumentation and perform engineering qualification tests on products
- Install and operate instrumentation for pressure, temperature, power, and vacuum measurements
- Test, calibrate and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
- Mechanical and electrical assembly of prototypes
- Helium leak detection of pressurized components
- Gas chromatograph testing
- Safe handling of pressurized equipment, voltages up to 600V, and cryogenic gases.
- Recording of test data including use of data acquisition systems including LabVIEW
- Write test reports
Base salary with some overtime Monday-Friday day shift hours
