Job Description

In this role, you will be helping the company to assemble or repair electronic components used in the aviation industry. As one of the leaders in aviation technology used in flight systems, this company is looking for exceptional technical candidates who can assemble, repair, and troubleshoot critical equipment. The company, located in the heart of Texas, is international in scope, supporting customers all across the globe. Yet, the company maintains a small, family atmosphere that cares about the welfare of each employee.

The role requires you to evaluate, test, troubleshoot, and repair flight controls to the component level. You will provide feedback to your customers about the problems (defects) found and what that may mean regarding the timing of the completed repair and cost. You will provide necessary feedback to your supervisor, especially regarding trends, product deficiencies, or improvements. You should be comfortable completing the necessary documentation, adhering to quality control, and necessary manual documentation.

Who are you? You are an adept electronic technician who understands the idea of component-level troubleshooting and repair. The more experience you have in those areas, the better the potential for the upper end of compensation. Although the company is looking for those experienced in troubleshooting and repairs, if you have educational experience in component-level troubleshooting, but not the depth, you may still be considered. You should be comfortable using test equipment, reading schematics, o-scopes, multimeters, and so on. If you have any experience in RF testing equipment or repair, please highlight that in your submittal.
