Electronics Maintenance Technician
New York City, NY US
Job Description
You must be electronically inclined and not afraid to troubleshoot, repair and refurbish industrial electronic equipment. The client is looking for candidates who can repair or replace electronic components at the board level. Successful candidates will also have familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The company uses PLCs, and they are willing to train someone provided they have an aptitude for electronics and are a quick learner.
In this role, they'll train you on PLCs, robotics and other skills, but they need those who have experience troubleshooting AC/DC drives and high-speed computer controlled production machinery, as well as knowledge of servos and related controllers including hydraulic and pneumatic, temperature controls.
This is a small, family-owned company. The hiring official has hired veterans in the past and has an immense appreciation for the skillsets taught within the military, comparing them to "beyond MA and Ph. D level." At the end of the day, this company values veteran talent based on the "human skills" of service members: the desire to grow and learn, and be a part of team that wants to succeed together.
Monday? Friday, Saturday overtime is available, but you are not required to work.
