Electronics/Electrical Technician

Job Description
You can expect that each day will be different than the one prior, supporting the manufacturing department fixing issues as they arise. Preventative maintenance is conducted on weekends (you can expect to work 2 x Saturday and 1 x Sunday/ month).
A strong candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the following:
- Switchgears, generators, transformers, buss duct and panelboards
- Have the ability to install, test, maintain, diagnose and correct various electrical, electro-mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- High speed automation, instrumentation, control wiring, and ladder logic (PLC knowledge will make you stand out, but a strong understanding of ladder logic is the requirement)
This is a union role, your workday is 7.5 hours, and anything over is paid at time and a half. Saturday work is paid as such: first 3 hours are at time and a half; the following hours are double time. Sunday work is 100% double time.
