Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job Description
This person will assemble products or subassemblies where methods and sequence of assembly may not be clearly written or described. You will use various common hand tools and power assisted assembly tools. The role will also require the use of computers to record the work task and/or order completion.
Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Exhibit knowledge and understanding of Quality practices, raising issues in the Quality Management system when necessary
- Ability to propose ideas for quality improvements by use of the ITW Toolbox
- Advanced assembly experience consisting of the ability to solder, troubleshoot, diagnose and articulate complex issues as well as advanced technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical or hydraulics
- Partner with Sustaining Engineering in efforts to redesign/troubleshoot and validate product
- Sufficiently cross trained on multiple assemblies
- Capability to build to blueprints, schematics or drawings with little to no supervision
- Competent to create work instructions, prints or other controlled documents
- Regular interactions with engineering to aid in troubleshooting issues, updating work instructions, and so on
- Engage with purchasing and quality when needed for part issues or non-conformities
