Once you are hired you will be expected to Install, maintain, and repair all electrical equipment. This includes inspecting and repairing electrical equipment and apparatus (both AC & DC). You will be asked to use computer diagnostic devices. Check electrical circuits, motors (1HP to 7500HP), wiring, transformers, crane electrical mechanisms, relays, lighting systems, magnets, magnet cables, motor drives (both AC & DC), electrical testing devices, and other electrical equipment. New hires must be adept at reading drawings and specifications as needed to assess and repair.
Must be willing to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
Must be willing to work in a steel mill environment. Able to comply with strict safety requirements that includes the use of a variety of mobile equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
$34 - $35/hour base pay, overtime, shift differential, profit sharing, and relocation assistance on a case by case
