Electrician

Job Description
As an electrician for this plant, you will conduct repairs and perform preventative maintenance on the printing press machines electrical system. Repair and maintain the equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers specifications. You will use hand tools and testing equipment to do your job. The plants electricians all work on 120/240/480 V machines. There will be little with regards to equipment installations, but there will be repairs that require you to do things such as pulling conduit.
You will have the opportunity to better your skills and career in this organization! They are willing to send you to classes and school to improve upon your electrical skills. They will even get you trained up on using PLCs! PLCs are a huge career progression point!
Location: Pontiac, IL (about 45 minutes from the beautiful Bloomington, IL; 1 hour from Chicago, and 1 hour from a wonderful city called Peoria)
Pay: Depends on skills
Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k with a match, 10 company holidays, 2 weeks of PTO
Shifts: First is (7am - 5pm) Second is (9am - 7pm), Tuesday through Friday
Overtime available

Second this means there will be a lot of opportunity for growth!
This is a team that believes in time off. If the equipment is up and running and there is no preventative maintenance to be conducted you are going to be walking around the shop with your coffee cup just keeping an eye on the equipment. They do not believe in busy work to be busy.

Limited weekends only when a must. These are usually Volunteers.
