Job Description
Once trained and up to speed you will perform PM work orders, troubleshoot and repair various mill equipment, Repair and modify electrical controls including electronic drive units, PLCs, and HMIs, provide electrical support to the mechanical and production teams, and assist with various projects. They are looking for someone who fits into their culture, someone with a strong commitment to Safety in all job aspects and a positive attitude, who is goal oriented and interested in self-improvement.
You must also show you can work in a team environment and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Technically they need someone with an understanding of electrical theory and practice, automation control, and experience or the ability to learn to perform routine and corrective maintenance on: AC motors and drives, DC motors and drives, power distribution, control systems and PLCs (will teach PLCs), overhead cranes, strong troubleshooting skills, excellent computer skills, mechanical aptitude or any hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge is a bonus.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within this company therefore, candidates must always be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
You must be able to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays as this is ahis is a rotating shift position that is 4 days on 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off.
