Electrical Solutions Manager/Sales

External salesperson is responsible for selling products and solutions, particularly aftermarket categories supporting electrical and control upgrades, part, and service. Travel 50% of the time mostly domestic, some international. Develop and maintain profitable relationships, maintain professional image of the company.

Manage Electrical Refurbishments Product Line volume and price mix, to ensure the product line is competitive and achieves market share targets.

This includes order negotiation, daily commercial guidance to external sales reps and internal support departments, and some technical support, as well as other customer support functions as required to secure profitable sales growth in line with product line and division objectives, while exceeding customer expectations.


Essential duties and responsibilities:

- Update and maintain accurate sales proposals and working documentation to identify a clear scope of supply of work to be performed on each project.
- Train the regional sales reps to available control upgrade packages and sales documentation to support future sales presentations and new orders.
- Conduct regular sales presentations monthly by physical or virtual visits to customer locations.
- Emphasize product features and benefits through updated sales proposals, negotiate pricing and payment terms in order to close new orders.

- Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
- Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
- Develop monthly forecast for electrical and control upgrades.
- Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, and other efforts.
- Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research.
