Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

A leading manufacturing in purpose-driven products that meet the needs of a range of industries, including athletic fields, golf courses, mining, oil and gas reclamation, landfills, commercial/residential construction and DOT/high projects is looking for military veteran talent on their maintenance team. There are multiple fill locations across the southeast including Conover, NC and Monticello, GA.

There will be no boring days with this role. You will be responsible for maintaining production and quality standards through the performance of corrective and preventative maintenance of all machinery and manufacturing equipment. You will maintain engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines. You'll install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment across the plant, ensuring it remains in compliance with the National Electrical Code.

Skills that will make you successful:

Candidates with experience in pneumatics/hydraulics, electrical experience (no high voltage required) and heavy industrial equipment are ideal. Understanding how to run conduit, pull wires/cables and wire termination will give you a huge leg up. But fundamentally, culture is important to this client. What you know is important, but having a continuous improvement mindset is what the client is truly looking to grow across the company. Teams consistently cross-train to assist their peers when issues arise.

This client invests in those who invest in the company offering pathways to promotion across the company: maintenance department (for example, maintenance manager), leadership (Plant Manager), or engineering ( quality control and process control).

You will see your Area Manager, the COO and SVP of Fiber (an army veteran) on off shifts and weekends. The company truly lives up to the idea of Servant Leadership.

Base salary DOE, plus a $2K tool allowance, $1.50 shift differential, sign on bonus.

A Retention Program, receive $500 after 30 days at the company, another $500 after 60 and another $500 after 90 days. $1.5K just to come to work.

645pm - 6am (2-2-3); pathway to 2nd and 1st shift.
