In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining all facets of the company's electrical system at our new expansion plant.
In this role they will need you to comply with all safety and environmental policies and procedures as well as the company's Code of Business Conduct.
You will need to analyze and evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research, applying knowledge of electricity and materials, and evaluating system and component capabilities as well as designing testing methods.
You will need to recommend, plan and implement facility and equipment installation and improvements to achieve optimum plant performance and reliability while minimizing power costs.
They will need you to inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards. You will support construction team and maintenance department through technical consultation and troubleshooting and problem solving.
You will also manage capital projects as required and serve as liaison with contractors, suppliers, consultants and insurance representatives. You will ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as OSHA safety standards.
This is not a position where you will be sitting behind a desk. You will be out on the floor assisting with the commissioning of new equipment and then assisting with the troubleshooting and repair of this equipment.
You will need to show you have experience with equipment testing and troubleshooting, installation and setup of electrical equipment, including PLCs.
Any experience in development and implementation of process improvements that increase plant reliability, productivity, capacity, quality, and efficiency will be beneficial. You will also need strong Leadership, Interpersonal, and facilitation skills and be a critical thinker and problem solver.
This is a Monday - Friday, day shift role that is on call for backup support for the maintenance department and outages.
