With the largest and most diverse dredging fleet in the US, this company serves a wide range of customers including the US Army Corps of Engineers;state, local and foreign governments;and private companies both international and domestic. Headquartered in Houston, TX, this company has more than 200 pieces of dredging equipment located strategically throughout North America and in various locations throughout the world.

The successful candidate will utilize excellent engineering skills, highlighting their expertise in design, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and vendor coordination. Interfacing closely with the estimating, mechanical engineering, and operations groups, the Electrical Engineer ensures seamless collaboration for successful project execution. From new build documentation to on-site field support, responsibilities encompass designing, controlling, and implementing electrical systems for both new and existing fleets. The role extends to proposal preparation, coordination with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, reflecting the comprehensive nature of military experience.

This position also involves travel to project locations nationwide, providing a hands-on approach to assignments assigned by the Electrical Engineering Manager. As a key contributor, you will maintain accurate documentation within the company's electronic system, perform on-call work during and after working hours, and offer technical leadership to employees and contractors.
