This person is responsible for the routine maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication, integration, and installation of various electrical and process control instrumentation equipment in a Chemical Manufacturing environment where safety is paramount. Attention to detail and a good safety culture is a requirement. This is an electrical and instrument controls position. Hands-on involvement with both electrical and controls equipment and systems is a requirement of this position. In particular, the position requires to perform installation and maintenance on all electrical equipment from 480 volts to 24VDC and mA signals. PLC ladder logic programming and troubleshooting with Logix5000/ Studio5000, Logix500 and Logix5. Working with the building management system, replacing VFDs, controllers and motors.

Reading schematics and electrical drawings to determine issues as well as making changes with AutoCAD Electrical. Replacing motors for our process equipment. Valve, pneumatic, hydraulic and instrumentation automation. Project management with contractors and vendors and often building good long lasting relationships. General facilities and maintenance job tasks may be assigned as needed.
