As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing all parts using proprietary software, working with detailers and coordinating with the shop being their technical resource and being ultimately responsible for life safety. While it is an Engineering role and they need someone who can crunch numbers, they also need a practical Leader who as the head of the design team can give clear and concise direction.
This is a blue collar, hands on Engineer role and they need people who know how to get the job done functioning in different environments such as working in an office cranking out calculations, coordinating with team, understanding project sites (occasionally going to sites), interacting with all and adding value. The company is also looking for Engineers who can become future Engineering leaders with them who will put the time in to learn the Company culture and technical side, earn their PE and become valued members of their teams.
They need high drive, leaders, with critical thinking skills and a collaborative team mindset, who can elevate the team using their strong and effective communication, organizational and leadership skills.
Base is $70 - $75k DOE
