Customer Service Engineer
Cincinnati, KY US
Job Description
The role is multi-faceted. Part technician, part trainer, part relationship builder/maintainer, and even a little sales; you'll be given a commission if you set up leads for sales, but you don't have a responsibility to sell anything. It is a good opportunity to get additional compensation if you do a great job. Your customers are throughout the Central US, so you will travel to customers during the week and home on the weekends. The work is a mix of basic maintenance and complex repairs. The company will put you through a very detailed training program, and you will be supported across the enterprise to be successful.
As with most careers in the Field Service industry, you have to be an off-the-charts communicator. Someone who deeply and sincerely appreciates helping people develop a technical solution. The Customer Service Engineer has a functional relationship with external customers. Sometimes, this means you must fix the customer before you can fix the machine.
This is a work-from-home role in the greater Cincinnati or Louisville area. You will travel to customers in this region but must travel nationally wherever the needs arise. In the future, as the Customer Service team expands, national travel will be reduced.
Salary plus overtime. Bonus based on commissions from leads and work bonuses. Medical, dental, vision and a 401k.
