Job Description

Our client is a full-service construction contractor that specializes in renovation and build-out of commercial and office spaces, but mainly working in the medical field and apartment home sectors.

This client has been named General Contractor of the Year nine times by the Charleston Chapter of the American Subcontractors Association.

The organization is currently searching for a Construction Project Manager to lead and manage different construction buildouts and renovation projects. In this position, you will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the project safety efforts, support the efforts of the Project Superintendent in all things safety
- Maintain client relationships, communicating effectively with the owner, architect, and engineer
- Oversee purchasing on individual projects
- Perform the day-to-day management of the construction budget
- Understand and effectively manage the risks on the project
- Manage the contractual relationship between the owner and contractor, subcontractors, and vendors
- Present pricing and the negotiation of change orders to the owner, subcontractors and vendors
- Know the requirements and specific details of the project
- Develop and maintain the overall project schedule in conjunction with the Project Team
- Lead the Quality Control effort by supporting the field operations in achieving a high-quality final product
- Manage the owner billing and subcontractor payment application processes

7am? 330pm Monday - Friday with a few exceptions that depend on the workflow.

The base salary is DOE. The upper-end of the range is reserved for relevant industrial experience. 10-20% bonus, a401(k) with match at 4%. A car allowance, cell phone, full benefits (competitive health and dental insurance). Paid vacation, relocation potential and growth.
